Mothering is difficult in these days in which we live.  One mother once said, “Before I was married, I had three theories on parenting.  Now I have three children and no theories.”  What does Scripture teach us about mothering?  Let’s consider the Old Testament character, Hannah, the mother of the prophet and judge, Samuel, who, as a woman of faith, was also a model of motherhood.
