About Us

Piano PlayerWho We Are

Community of Joy is a Christian congregation in Eagan, MN, that is discovering in new and fresh ways that “the joy of the Lord is our strength.” The joy of the Lord is evident as we worship and praise Him together, build the lives of those who participate in our various fellowship and educational opportunities, and impact our neighborhood and beyond through service and outreach. As we grow together in God’s grace, caring for each other as a family of faith, we are strengthened and encouraged to become all we can be in Christ.

Our Core Values

  • We value the Bible as God’s Word, the final authority for all that we believe and do.
  • We value personal faith in Jesus Christ expressed in lives of devoted discipleship.
  • We value authentic worship, engaging both heart and mind in exalting the Triune God.
  • We value Christian witness and service, sharing with the world the love of God in Christ.
  • We value the Christian Church, diverse in backgrounds and gifts, united in fellowship and mission.
  • The WordWe value prayer and the study of God’s Word as vital to knowing and loving God and understanding His purpose for our lives.
  • We value the teaching framework of our Lutheran heritage with its emphasis on law and gospel, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and the priesthood of all believers.
